Newsflash 10/2024: First automated Drone Cargo Port!
At Avercon, innovation is at the heart of what we do.
We are thrilled to be part of a groundbreaking project—the creation of Europe’s first fully automated Drone Cargo Port! 🚁✨
This ambitious project, which will be engineered and built by Avercon, will unfold in several phases, pushing the boundaries of automation and technology.
The initiative and concept come from Helicus, a forward-thinking company with vast experience in enabling medical services through unmanned drone transport.
We are excited to collaborate and bring their vision to life!
To fully automate the process of (medical) drone flights, two key components were essential and previously non-existent:
- Fully automated handling of both the drone and its cargo
- Implementation of a globally accepted software standard for drone-based applications to ensure safe, automated operations
Step by step, these projects are getting closer to their goal.
We are proud to be part of this innovation, which ultimately enhances medical support and contributes to a healthier environment for everyone.
